SUSTAINABILITY

Nature and species conservation represent one of the central tasks of the Alpenzoo, especially in a world in which so many species have become rare and intact habitats are disappearing. The Alpenzoo endeavours to fulfil this task through public relations work and participation in research and animal protection projects. As a member, the Alpenzoo cooperates closely with numerous nature and species conservation organisations. In addition to species conservation, the Alpenzoo also endeavours to achieve sustainability. For this reason, the Alpenzoo has set itself the task of developing a sustainability strategy.
