A visit to the ALPENZOO is a special experience at any time of year! Almost all animal species can also be seen in winter, as only the marmots, reptiles and amphibians sleep through the cold season. Most young animals are born in the ALPENZOO from April to June, with ibex, chamois and roe deer born in May to June. From the beginning of March, on the other hand, many bird species are mating or busy building their nests, which is always exciting to watch.
The Alpenzoo also offers the option of buying tickets online. The
tickets can then be redeemed within a period of two
weeks.
