BIRD FINDINGS

Birds that are in distress, be it due to injury, loss of habitat or other circumstances, find refuge in the Alpenzoo. The zoo is committed to the care and rehabilitation of these birds, regardless of whether they are young or adult. These efforts are part of our commitment to the protection and conservation of birdlife, and we always endeavour to give them the best possible chance of returning to the wild.

Help us help you

The Alpenzoo takes in around 500-600 injured or needy wild animals every year. We can release most of them again. But feed and care cost a lot of money.
