SUSTAINABILITY

Nature and species conservation is one of the central tasks of the Alpine Zoo, especially in a world in which so many species have become rare and intact habitats are disappearing. The Alpine Zoo endeavours to fulfil this task through public relations work and participation in research and animal protection projects. As a member, the Alpine Zoo cooperates closely with many nature and species conservation organisations. In addition to species protection, the Alpine Zoo also endeavours to achieve sustainability. For this reason, the Alpine Zoo has set itself the task of developing a sustainability strategy.
