Ukrainian families can visit the Alpenzoo for free

For all Ukrainian families who had to leave their home country due to the war, the visit of the Alpenzoo is free of charge since 28 February 2022. We hope to provide a little distraction for these families during this difficult time.

The new Alpenzoo GIFs

Since recently, all zoo enthusiasts can use the official Alpenzoo GIFs on Instagram, Facebook and also Whatsapp and send them to each other.

Anyone who wants to use the GIFs just has to enter the word "Alpenzoo" in the search bar of their GIF function of the respective app and the funny animals will appear. This is also explained again in a video under this link.

We are saving an (unknown) species - The species conservation project: "Bayrische Kurzohrmaus".

This mouse is more endangered than tigers, snow leopards or pandas. Here, the Alpenzoo sees itself in the leading role to save this endangered species.
